Beloved NBA star and business mogul Shaquille O’Neal has announced his first large-scale bass music festival, Shaq’s Bass All-Stars Festival, will take place on Saturday, September 16th at Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth, TX, just outside of Dallas.
Though known for many other things, Shaq has earned repute in the bass music world producing and performing under the name DJ Diesel (or SHAQ), throwing down impressive sets at Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, Outside Lands, Tomorrowland, and more since discovering the genre at TomorrowWorld, which he crashed in 2014. Now he will take his touring Bass All-Stars series to the next level with a personally curated festival and hand-selected lineup featuring Alison Wonderland, Sullivan King, Kai Wachi, Crankdat, and many more across two stages with “Shaq-sized production.” Festivalgoers will also be able to enjoy some of Shaq’s favorite Texas food trucks, interactive brand activations, and more. The festival is presented in partnership with Disco Donnie Presents and Medium Rare.
