On Tuesday, acclaimed rock duo Shovels & Rope announced a 2020 U.S. headlining tour, which will see the band navigate the Southeast, Midwest, and Northeast. The band—comprised of Cary Ann Hearst and Michael Trent—continues to tour in support of their 2019 By Blood album.
Shovels & Rope’s 2020 U.S. tour begins with a performance at Athens, GA’s Georgia Theatre on February 13th and ends with a show at St. Louis, MO’s Delmar Hall on April 15th. The tour will also see the duo make stops at Macon, GA’s Hargray Capitol Theatre (2/14); Baton Rouge, LA’s Manship Theatre (2/18); Mobile, AL’s Soul Kitchen (2/22); Charlotte, NC ‘s Neighborhood Theatre (4/2); Baltimore, MD’s Ram’s Head (4/4); Pittsburgh, PA’s Mr. Smalls (4/7); Indianapolis, IN’s The Vogue (4/10); Milwaukee, WI’s Turner Hall (4/14); and more.
An artist pre-sale for the newly announced dates begins on Wednesday, October 23rd at 10 a.m. local time and runs through Thursday, October 24th. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, October 25th here.
