Shpongle will return to the U.S. in April for a run of rare live performances in Port Chester, NY, San Francisco, CA, and Denver, CO.
The psychedelic electronic music project led by Simon Posford will perform “iconic soundscapes alongside music from his celebrated projects Hallucinogen and Younger Brother,” according to the announcement, with two nights each at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester (April 11th–12th), The Warfield Theatre in San Francisco (April 18th–19th), and the Mission Ballroom in Denver (April 25th–26th).
“Known for creating transformative live experiences with stunning visuals and hypnotic beats, Simon’s performances promise to transport Port Chester, NY to otherworldly dimensions,” the Capitol Theatre’s announcement continued. “Along for the ride are renowned artists Alex and Allyson Grey, with visuals by Android Jones and Jonathan Singer.”
Each show will also feature different support acts including Spoonbill, DOS, Cosmic Trigger, LTJ Bukem, The Sponges, Ovoid, and Beat Kitty.
Tickets for the Shpongle live shows will go on sale this Friday, January 24th at 10:00 a.m. local venue time following venue pre-sales. Click on the dates listed below for more information and ticketing details.
Shpongle will also perform at Resonate Suwannee in May and join Tipper & Friends at The Gorge Amphitheater over 4th of July weekend ahead of the enigmatic British DJ’s impending retirement from touring.
