With the first annual Shuck n’ Jive Festival set to take place this weekend in Sandy Hook, CT, acts such as Kung Fu, Max Creek, Natalie Cressman, Billy Iuso, Jen Durkin & The Business, the Z3 ft. Ed Mann (paying tribute to Frank Zappa), and more will help celebrate the inaugural year of the music and mountain bike festival, which will be held on the beautiful McLaughlin Vineyards. The festival takes place on both Saturday and Sunday, with both full weekend passes and single-day tickets available.
David Chard, owner of B.R.Y.A.C. Restaurant and Raw Bar (who put on great local shows of their own in Bridgeport), has put together a fantastic fall festival with plenty of great acts to choose from, at an unbelievably beautiful location with spots to relax, hike, mountain bike, and enjoy some food, drink, and the fall foliage. There will be a late night bon fire at the vineyard stage on Saturday night.
Tickets are limited to an allotment of only 500 limited tickets and are selling out quickly! Tickets are reasonably priced at $95 for a weekend pass; however, single-day passes are available as well ($60). You can purchase here! Don’t miss out on a beautiful Fall weekend of music in Connecticut.
Don’t forget about the 21-mile mountain bike race that will take place on the property, which anybody is welcome to join. For more information on the bike race, click here.
