On March 22nd, 67-year-old Sib Hashian, former drummer for Boston, died during a performance aboard the Legends of Rock cruise while the ship was en route to Nassau, Bahamas. It’s not often people die doing what they love, but the fact is true for Hashian. After being given CPR and treated with a defibrillator, the drummer could not be resuscitated and passed away. “It might be a heart attack,” Hashian’s son told People. The cruise will continue, as previously scheduled.

Hashian was included in Boston’s first two records, their 1976 self-titled debut album, which went platinum 17 times, featuring songs like “Long Time,” “Peace of Mind,” and “More Than A Feeling,” as well as the follow-up album Don’t Look Back.
