After canceling in 2025, Sick New World will make a huge return in 2026 with another installment of its flagship Las Vegas festival plus the debut of Sick New World Texas in Fort Worth. System Of A Down will headline both events, with the Vegas festival set for April 25th, 2026, at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, followed by the Texas expansion on October 24th at the Texas Motor Speedway.
First, Sick New World will come back to Vegas with performances by KoЯn, Bring Me the Horizon, Evanescence, embattled shock-rocker Marilyn Manson, Danny Elfman, Knocked Loose, Ministry, AFI, Cypress Hill, reunited sludge metal architects Acid Bath, Underoath, Mastodon, Clutch, Melvins, P.O.D., Scowl, and many more.
Then in the fall, Sick New World Texas will host another headlining set from System Of A Down, plus Slayer, celebrating the 40th anniversary of Reign In Blood with a full-album performance, and appearances by Deftones and The Prodigy. The Texas lineup has some considerable overlap with Vegas—though not total—featuring sets by Evanescence, Marilyn Manson, Knocked Loose, Ministry, AFI, Clutch, Melvins, Underoath, P.O.D., Scowl, Coal Chamber, Terror, Superheaven, and more. See below for the full lineups.
This will mark the first Sick New World in two years, following the cancellation of the festival—originally set for April 2025 in Las Vegas—in December of the previous year. Though the Live Nation-promoted festival cited unspecified unforeseen circumstances, AXS TV reported that the festival only sold around 20,000 tickets of the 60,000 it could accommodate. Additionally, the 2025 festival deviated from the nu metal focus Sick New World has had since its 2023 debut, instead attempting to stage a lineup led by Metallica, Linkin Park, and Queens of the Stone Age. With the 2026 lineups, organizers appear to return to the festival’s roots. System Of A Down, KoЯn, and Deftones all headlined the inaugural festival in 2023.
Tickets will go on sale this week for both events, starting with a pre-sale for Vegas on Thursday, October 23rd at 10 a.m. PT. Tickets for Texas will go on pre-sale Friday, October 24th at 10 a.m. CT. Both pre-sales will be followed by general public on-sales for any remaining tickets.
