SiriusXM has announced the return of Phish Radio, the exclusive limited-run pop-up channel devoted to anything and everything Phish. Phish Radio will return to SiriusXM’s Channel 29, beginning this Monday, December 17th and continuing through January 1st, shortly following a live simulcast of the band’s New Year’s Eve concert at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
Phish Radio will play music from throughout the band’s extensive career, including selections from their vast live catalog, studio tracks, unreleased demos, and musical influences, and will feature exclusive commentary from all four band members.
After launching in August, Phish Radio welcomed a special program hosted by Ari Fink with the one-and-only Trey Anastasio—dubbed “Ask Trey”—where Anastasio answered questions that were submitted to SiriusXM by Phish fans.
Phish Radio will air an all-new installment of ‘Ask Trey’ next week. The second installment of ‘Ask Trey’ will premiere at 12 p.m. (EST) on Monday afternoon. In addition, Phish Radio will unveil a new series of episodes of drummer Jon Fishman‘s The Errant Path program, full concerts from the band’s archives such as past New Year’s Eve blowouts, commentary from members of the group, and more.
SiriusXM’s re-launch of Phish Radio begins on Monday, December 17th at 12 p.m. (EST) via satellite on channel 29 and through the SiriusXM app on smartphones and other connected devices, as well as online at siriusxm.com.
