The Allman Betts Band has rounded up some killer lineups for its ongoing Allman Betts Family Revival tour, but Monday’s show at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium reached new heights with an appearance by Slash.

The show featured a number of marquee-worthy names, many of whom have previously joined Devon Allman and Duane Betts, including Robert Randolph, Larry McCray, Luther Dickinson, Maggie Rose, Jimmy Hall, Lamar Williams Jr., Sierra Hull, Sierra Green, Jake Shimabukuro, Grace Bowers, Lindsay Lou, Jackie Greene, and Donavon Frankenreiter. The highlight of the evening, though, was a special one-night-only visit from the Guns N’ Roses guitarist.

Slash’s sit-in arrived late in the second set as the top hat-wearing ax-slinger emerged to shred on Muddy Waters-penned Allman Brothers Band staple “Trouble No More”. He then traded solos with sacred steel virtuoso Robert Randolph on “Dreams” and helped close out the set with “Whipping Post”.
