Sonic Temple Festival Music & Arts Festival has announced that Tool and Shinedown will join previously announced headliners My Chemical Romance and Bring Me The Horizon at the event’s fifth edition on May 14th, 15th, 16th, and 17th, 2026 at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, OH [get tickets].
Produced by Danny Wimmer Presents, Sonic Temple will once again feature an extensive lineup of 140+ acts from the worlds of rock, metal, punk, hip-hop, and more across five stages. Beyond the extensive music lineup—a trademark of this and other Danny Wimmer Presents events like Aftershock, Bourbon & Beyond, Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival, Louder Than Life, and Welcome To Rockville—one of the most distinctive elements of Sonic Temple is its celebration of visual art. The event’s onsite Art Boutique, Art Towers, and Art Walls will return in 2026 featuring live, large-scale installations and interactive pieces that unfold in real time throughout the weekend, transforming the festival into a living, breathing gallery experience featuring work by contemporary American painter Terry Urban and illustrator and cartoonist Jay Howell (Bob’s Burgers) alongside a curated selection of Columbus-based artists.
To round out the immersive atmosphere, the Caduceus Wine Garden—featuring selections from Caduceus Cellars and Merkin Vineyards, owned by Tool’s Maynard James Keenan—will return in 2026, offering fans a refined retreat amid the energy of the weekend. Back by popular demand, The Dive Bar, the festival’s fan-favorite hangout with pop-up performances and surprise appearances, will once again be a must-visit destination on the grounds.

Danny Wimmer Presents has also partnered once again with GOVX to offer specially priced Sonic Temple passes—including 4-day GA Field, 4-day GA Stadium, and Single Day GA Stadium—to military, nurses, firefighters, and police personnel who can verify their eligibility through GOVX.
The 2026 edition of Sonic Temple follows a banner year for the festival in 2025, when 175,000 music fans converged on Historic Crew Stadium for the sold-out event, which featured more than 100 bands playing on four stages.
