Soulive will play a two-week residency at New York City’s Blue Note Jazz Club in June 2023 as part of Blue Note Jazz Festival.
The instrumental funk-jazz trio consisting of Alan Evans, Neal Evans, and Eric Krasno will perform 16 shows over the course of two separate weekends, with an early and a late show each night. The early sets will start at 8 p.m., with the late shows following at 10:30 p.m.
Soulive will kick off the residency with two shows on June 15th, 16th, 17th, and 18th. Then, after a week off, the band will reconvene for shows on June 29th and 30th and July 1st and 2nd.

Earlier this year, Soulive held its annual Bowlive event over the course of three nights at Brooklyn Bowl, where Krasno, Evans, and Evans collaborated with guitar virtuoso Brandon “Taz” Niederauer and played a set of Beatles covers as rendered on the trio’s beloved 2010 collection, Rubber Soulive.
