Pretty Lights is gearing up to play the historic Red Rocks in Morrison, CO August 7-8. Joining the groundbreaking producer each night will be jazz-funk trio Soulive comprised of Eric Krasno (Lettuce/Pretty Lights Live), Neal Evans (Lettuce) and Alan Evans.
Pretty Lights has recently been in charge of producing Soulive’s new album, which they recorded together at The Parlor in New Orleans last month. We spoke to Eric Krasno about the unique collaboration and upcoming shows:
“It has been a while since Soulive recorded a record, so we were really excited to get in the studio with Derek [Pretty Lights]. The collaboration of Pretty Lights and Soulive is creating a new sound for both artists.
Pretty Lights at Red Rocks is always a huge event over the summer, we’re really excited that Soulive is going to be part of it this year. I always look forward to what the PL team puts together.”
PL put out the following teaser today. We certainly look forward to seeing what they have in store!
