South Park is known for its ridiculous “toilet humor,” as my grandmother would call it. However, many times, behind the mock satire, creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are delivering a fairly poignant social message. The beauty of a show like South Park is that if something happens, these guys can create an entire episode (which is their very own form of commentary) in 6 days.

So, what was so poignant about this week’s episode, “Ginger Cow,” you may ask? Well, not that much, really….it’s just another episode that exposes the ridiculous nature of organized religion. However, if South Park was predicting the future and Christianity, Islam, and Judaism came together, we would get one epic Van Halen concert in Jerusalem! Imagine David Lee Roth and Eddie Van Halen’s heads deflating a bit so they would fit in this world together, and letting poor old Michael Anthony (who is the nicest guy in the world) back in the band to play a potential Concert for Unification? How fitting would that be? Well, in this episode, they do, and what a united Jerusalem gets is a rocking version of “Ain’t Talking ‘Bout Love.”

Another surprising revelation from the episode….if you take Van Halen’s logo, you can transform it into the symbols of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.
