Fans of Spafford had the treat of seeing the band perform two nights at Last Exit Live, a venue situated in the band’s home state of Arizona. The Phoenix, AZ celebration was one for the ages, as Spafford took fans through a jam-fueled journey in honor of the spooky holiday.

The second night was the true Halloween party, with the band debuting a number of covers for the occasion. Spafford opened the show with the “Ghostbusters” theme song, and even included Green Day and Herbie Hancock covers in their first set. The cover of Herbie Hancock’s “Canteloupe Island” also featured saxophonist Mike Cunningham, adding some extra oomph to the first set closer. The show also featured debut renditions of Soft Cell’s “Tainted Love” and Todd Rundgren’s “Bang On The Drum All Day” in the second set, throwing it back to the 80’s for a great night of music!

Fortunately, thanks to taper Grout, we have audio to share from this Halloween show. Check out the stream below!
