Stoops and Hann unveiled their hybrid side project Oktopus this past summer at Gathering of the Vibes to rave reviews. The funky jamtronica late-night party was one of the bustout sets at Vibes and had people grooving until the sun began to rise with multi-textured rhythms, euphoric sounds and plenty of funk and dance beats to go around. They were even joined by a ton of special guests, including Mihali Savoulidis and Zdenek Gubb of Twiddle, Hayley Jane, Camille Armstrong of Steve Kimock Band and Stomp on Broadway and Cochrane McMillan of Tea Leaf Green.
