Sphere Entertainment Co. has announced plans to celebrate New Year’s Eve with a custom Exosphere content show on the world’s largest LED screen. Presented by Lexus, the display will celebrate major cities around the world as different timezones approach midnight, culminating with Las Vegas’ official countdown to 2025.

“Sphere is a global landmark, and we’re excited to be sharing New Year’s Eve with our fans around the world through our Exosphere show,” said Jen Koester, Sphere’s President and CEO. “New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas is one of the world’s marquee celebrations, and we’re proud to be working with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, Lexus, and Anyma to ring in 2025 as only Sphere can.”

Kicking off at 5:00 a.m. PT on December 31st, when Sydney, Australia welcomes in 2025, the Sphere New Year’s Eve Celebration will feature art from self-described “psychedelic math artist” UON Visuals. Throughout the day, cities including Tokyo, Abu Dhabi, London, Buenos Aires, New York, Chicago, and Denver will each have their moment before the clock strikes midnight in Las Vegas.

Sphere will serve as Las Vegas’ official countdown to 2025 as part of a citywide New Year’s Eve fireworks show, with fireworks launched from the rooftops of nine resort properties across the Las Vegas Strip. Then, as Anyma performs inside the venue, viewers will get an unprecedented glimpse into the opening sequence of his highly-anticipated show.
