Guitarist Steve Kimock has announced his new project, K I M O C K, featuring his son John Kimock, Bobby Vega, and Leslie Mendelson. The group will make their debut performance at the Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, CA on January 17, and in addition, Kimock has revealed details about a tour that runs throughout much of March and into early April. The tour will include several California shows as well as dates on the east coast with stops slated for the Ardmore Music Hall, Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock, NY, Infinity Hall in Hartford, CT and The Hamilton in Washington D.C. Kimock has also announced he will release a new solo record with K I M O C K on March 18, Last Danger of Frost, an album recorded last winter in his century-old Pennsylvania barn. He also has a Pledgemusic page set up currently where fans can go and support the release. Kimock will be offering a variety of awesome packages depending on your pledge including limited edition signed vinyl, a Skype drum lesson with John Kimock, and a chance to share a cup of coffee with Kimock out on the road.
