Former Guns N’ Roses’ drummer Steven Adler has been hospitalized following a self-stabbing in his Los Angeles home.

Paramedics were called to Adler’s home last night where he was transported to the local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The circumstances surrounding Adler’s stabbing is unclear, but no one is suspected to have been involved. It is suspected this was a suicide attempt.

Adler has openly struggled with substance abuse for decades through his Guns N’ Roses career. He got kicked out of the band in 1990, but was later inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame with the original band in 2012.

Adler was not part of the Guns N’ Roses 2017-2018 reunion lineup with Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan, but has made guest appearances during the band’s Not In This Lifetime world tour.

Adler seemed to have been in good spirits following his Biloxi, MS performance at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on June 22nd. He was set to play nine more shows on his 2019 tour, performing hits from his Appetite For Destruction album.
