STS9 announced a major Winter Tour today to follow the 5-night New Years Run at their hometown venue, The Tabernacle, in Atlanta, GA. This run comes on the heels of the December festival Mayan Holidaze, and the band won’t be taking much of a break before getting back to an almost-daily performance schedule.

The fully packed month-long tour starts in the west, in sunny San Diego, on January 23rd and chugs right up the major cities to Tahoe before heading inward to four nights in Colorado, back to back 2-night runs at Aspen’s Belly Up and Denver’s Fillmore. There’s a mysterious TBD venue before they hit Minneapolis, so mid-western fans will surely be treated to a surprise on 2/5, but then they continue on, a show a day until Buffalo, NY. The boys will go as far north as Portland, ME, satisfying all the northeasterners need for Tribe, before another 2-night stint at the wildly popular and renovated Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY. They will take their time getting down to DC for a familiar night at the 9:30 Club and will wrap up the tour  back in the southern half, hitting Norfolk, Asheville, and ending in Knoxville.
