Axe. The. Cables. It has been a while since STS9 have graced concert goers with one of their now signature, mostly acoustic performances. That will change with the bands first “Axe The Cables” performance with the group’s new bassist, Alana Rocklin. The group has announced that they will treat fans to the mostly cable-less sets before each of their upcoming shows at Red Rocks in Morrison, CO on September 5 and 6. STS9 will still play two full sets after each “Axe The Cables” performance on the Rocks.
The band announced the sets via their Facebook page:
We are very excited to announce to everyone that we’re adding something really special to our Red Rocks Amphitheatre shows this coming Fri Sept 5th and Sat Sept 6th. Prior to 2 full sets of full tilt 9 the hills of Morrison and our dearest fans will be witness to the return of STS9’s critically acclaimed “Axe The Cables” each evening which will provide the cherry on top of what is sure to be an amazing weekend in Colorado. Join us each evening as we dig deep to kick off each night in the most unique way we knew we could and in a way we knew you all would love. We literally cannot wait to be there with you all to share this amazing experience. Tell a friend. Buy a ticket. This one’s going down in history, we just know it!
