Summerfest will return to Milwaukee for three weekends in June and July 2022 with a lineup headed by Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, and Wu-Tang Clan (6/25); Machine Gun Kelly (7/1); Halsey (7/2); Rod Stewart and Cheap Trick (7/3); Backstreet Boys (7/8); and more. The festival occurs at American Family Insurance Amphitheater June 23rd–25th, June 30th–July 2nd, and July 7th–9th.
Additional headliners include Jason Aldean (6/23), Justin Bieber (6/24), Thomas Rhett (7/9), and an as yet unannounced lead artist for June 30th. Also appearing at Summerfest are The Black Crowes, John Fogerty, Steve Miller Band, Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit, Charli XCX, Death Cab For Cutie, Modest Mouse, Steve Aoki, Third Eye Blind, 2 Chainz, Portugal. The Man, The Revivalists, Boyz II Men, Taking Back Sunday, Ann Wilson (Heart), Atmosphere, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Big Boi, Todd Rundgren, Anthrax, Violent Femmes, Mt. Joy, The Commodores, Guster, Parquet Courts, Village People, The Record Company, Houndmouth, Modern English, Cory Henry, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Here Come The Mummies, Great White, Quiet Riot, The Tubes, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Meat Puppets, and many, many more.

After postponing to early September last year due to the pandemic, the 54th edition of Summerfest will return to its traditional dates in the heart of summer. Recognized as “The World’s Largest Music Festival,” the Milwaukee megafest celebrates some of the world’s biggest talent alongside rising artists while welcoming approximately 900,000 fans over three weekends across 11 stages.

A variety of tickets for Summerfest 2022 are on sale now. Headlining acts performing in the American Family Insurance Amphitheater require a separate ticket for entrance. Tickets for Backstreet Boys go on sale on April 8th at 10 a.m. ET and tickets for Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, ad Wu-Tang Clan go on sale on April 15th at 10 a.m. ET and include admission to Summerfest on the day of the concert.
