Denver's Revival Public House To Host Sunday Comedown Brunch Series Ft. Members Of The Motet, Mofro, More

Whether you need help recuperating after a Saturday night rager or just live by the age-old adage “Never miss a Sunday show,” Denver’s Revival Public House has you covered with the Sunday Comedown brunch series.

Every Sunday starting July 17th, Revival and Swoop Presents will host a live music brunch from 2–5:00 p.m. with free admission and family style all-day brunch and drink specials. The intimate concert series will feature some of the city’s top musicians including members of The Motet, Break Science, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Mofro, and much more.

The series will kick off on July 17th with Lit Society featuring Joey Porter (The Motet), Drew Sayers (The Motet), Todd Smallie (Mofro), Taylor Scott, and Eric Imbrosciano. The following Sunday, July 24th, will feature a DJ set from Borahm Lee of Break Science. Lit Society will return the Sunday after that with Tedeschi Trucks Band’s Kebbi Williams in tow, along with pianist Jon Wirtz.

Ethno, aka Jeff Franca of Thievery Corporation, will perform on August 7th, followed by a Phish tribute featuring members of The Jauntee and more on August 14th. Sunday, August 21st will see a set from Dude Bros featuring Julie, Becca, and Dustin of The Sweet Lillies, and Casey Russel will perform on the 28th. The initial schedule will wrap up on September 4th with a performance by Casual Commander, with additional Sunday performances due to be announced as the weekly series continues indefinitely.

In addition to complementary entertainment, the series will showcase Revival’s culinary offerings with all-day brunch and beverages. Serving food fit for a memorable celebration or a late-night snack and drinks that complement the night without dominating the conversation, Revival is an innovative and approachable demonstration of American cuisine.

The series is presented by Swoop Presents—a promotion company founded by Eric Imbrosciano and Cass Clayton. Swoop also presents a weekly Funk Jam every Tuesday at Mile High Spirits, and they have other concerts and events scheduled throughout the summer, including the Funkin In The Beach series at Cherry Creek and the Front Porch Series at Arvada Center on Thursdays.
