SunSquabi has released their first official live recording to date. After years of holding back on releasing live shows, the band is now ready to unveil Live in Boulder. The show was recorded in its entirety at the Fox Theatre on Feb. 4th, 2017 and features a 90-min musical odyssey mixed with the energy of their hometown crowd of Boulder, CO. The set list features tracks from Deluxe EP, Odyssey EP, Anytime EP and includes special guests throughout the show.
The band has been playing shows at the Fox Theatre since their inception and will forever be the venue they hold dearest in their hearts–making this release a special one. “It only felt right to put out our first official live release with the Fox Theatre,” says Kevin Donohue (guitar, keys, production). “This is where it all started and it’s a really cool feeling to be able to share that energy with listeners.”

SunSquabi Taps The Russ Liquid Test, Escort, Defunk, and Flamingosis For Biggest Show Yet
SunSquabi is performing at Fillmore Auditorium, Saturday November 11th. Presented by Griz’s All Good Records, SunSquabi will be joined by The Russ Liquid Test (New Orleans, LA), Escort Live Band (Brooklyn, NY) and Defunk (Canada) with special guest Flamingosis to round out the bill with tweener sets all night.
All Good Records and SunSquabi have curated the November 11th show to cultivate a full-blown dance party with some of their favorite acts performing today. As one of the scene’s most renowned live acts, and in anticipation of their upcoming performance at the Fillmore, SunSquabi is excited to bring in a full concert experience with their largest and most immersive audio and visual production ever.
Colorado has seen SunSquabi grow from supporting artists at the Fox Theatre in Boulder to playing the world renowned Red Rocks amphitheater 3 years in a row. Standing at the forefront of the epicenter of the electro-funk scene in Colorado, the trio have championed the thriving genre as one of the culture’s integral live acts. In 2017, SunSquabi took their live show across North America, to festivals from Summer Camp to Electric Forest to Camp Bisco, and are thrilled to bring it all home to their home town fans on November 11th. SunSquabi and Oskar Blues team up to spread a love of music by hosting music workshops and donating instruments to public school programs in need.
