SunSquabi and lespecial will hit the road together this fall for a whirlwind 20-show tour. The two trios (trio duo?) will traverse the South, Midwest, and East Coast throughout the month of November and into December.
The tour kicks off at Visulite Theatre in Charlotte, NC on November 9th, with additional Southern dates in Knoxville, TN (11/10); Atlanta, GA (11/11); and Athens, GA (11/12). A date that has been mysteriously blurred on the schedule will most likely take place on the 13th or 14th before the bands head to Virginia for shows in Richmond (11/15) and Virginia Beach (11/16).
Next they will hit up the East Coast for dates in Philadelphia, PA (11/17); Harrisburg, PA (11/18); and Washington D.C. (11/19). A few Midwestern shows will bring the tour to Columbus, OH (11/30); Peoria, IL (12/1); Chicago, IL (12/2); Indianapolis, IN (12/3); Grand Rapids, MI (12/4); and Ferndale, MI (12/6); and the bands will wrap up the tour back on the East Coast with some New York dates including Buffalo (12/7); Saratoga Springs (12/8); and NYC (12/9); and a tour-closing blowout at Paradise Rock Club in Boston, MA on December 10th.
lespecial also recently announced Le Getaway Part 3—a two-day event set to take place at Club Getaway in Kent, CT on October 14th–15th with a lineup featuring TAUK, Club d’Elf featuring Rob Compa (Dopapod), late-night silent disco sets from Supersillyus and Honeycomb, and two sets from lespecial. SunSquabi just released “Scorpion”, a single from the group’s upcoming album Arise, due out October 26th (before the start of the band’s fall tour dates with lespecial).
