Sunsquabi has released a new live compilation album, Sunsquabi Live 2019, featuring an array of 14 songs culled from a year on the road.
Live 2019 comes as the band’s seventh release in their five-year career. Unlike the band’s two previous live releases in Sunsquabi (Live at Red Rocks) and Live In Boulder which only showcase one performance, Live 2019 is comprised of a hand-picked selection of recordings from the band which they believe is the definitive live Sunsquabi experience. The album contains fan favorites such as “Night Moth” and a special performance of “Tequila Mockingbird” when the band played it alongside Big Gigantic frontman Dom Lalli.
In addition to those live staples, the Live 2019 also features live takes on unreleased originals including “Hornet” and “Top Down”, which the band plans to officially record and disseminate later this year, according to the announcement shared via press release on Friday.

Sunsquabi’s 2020 tour continues with a performance at Live Oak, FL’s Brainquility Festival on Saturday (2/8). Starting February 26th at Higher Ground in Burlington, VT, Sunsquabi will begin a co-headlining run of shows with The Floozies across the country as part of their Day Glow Funk Tour.
