On April 29th, The Suwannee Family Band will come together for one great night of music smack dab in the middle of the Jazz Fest festivities. Comprised of Adam Deitch, Eric Krasno, Oteil Burbridge, Nigel Hall, Kofi Burbridge, and The Shady Horns, the family will get together and get down for one night only.

Opening the show will be Hard Proof, an Austin-based Afrobeat band that’s guaranteed to get things shaking. Following them will be the Jennifer Hartswick Band, the solo outfit for the heavy-hitting Trey Anastasio Band trumpetist. Hartswick is a versatile performer, boasting powerful vocals and horn playing for what is sure to be a great way to get things shaking.

The main event for the show will be the “Suwannee Family Band,” comprised of musical greats Adam Deitch (Lettuce/Break Science/PL Live), Eric Krasno (Lettuce/Soulive), Oteil Burbridge (Allman Brothers Band), Kofi Burbridge (Tedeschi Trucks Band), Nigel Hall (Nth Power/Lettuce), and the Shady Horns (Lettuce/Soulive).

These Suwannee regulars are bringing the funk out to New Orleans for one night only, featuring some of the best in the business. There’s no telling what will happen with Adam Deitch on drums (who is celebrating his birthday earlier in the week), guitar great Eric Krasno, Oteil Burbridge on the bass and his brother Kofi on keys, Nigel Hall rocking vocals, and Ryan Zoidis and Eric Benny Bloom (Shady Horns/Lettuce/Soulive) on the horns. Funk yes!

It all goes down April 29th at One Eyed Jacks in New Orleans, LA. For tickets and more information, head here.
