Suwannee Hulaween, originally set to take place at The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park this fall, has announced its cancellation for 2020.
The annual Halloween music festival celebration was scheduled for October 29th–November 1st in Live Oak, FL. Now, festival organizers say they are looking toward 2021, as well as planning online festivities for the 2020 weekend.
In an official statement posted to social media, organizers acknowledged that, while they have been working tirelessly to ensure a safe camping experience at Suwannee, that the state of Florida simply is not ready to act as a host to a mass influx of concertgoers. The precautions being taken at the popular Music Park were laid out in full in an open letter from Suwannee CEO James Cornett earlier this month.
