The dedicated crew of the beloved Spirit Of The Suwannee Music Park sprang to life in a most impressive manner after Hurricane Irma ravaged the state of Florida during the beginning of September. Following the storm, the park filled with the sounds of chainsaws, debris clearing trucks, smokey burn piles, and, most impressively, laughter. Though some of the staff still had no electricity at home, everyone at the park worked feverishly to get Suwannee back to a fully operational state. The clean-up crew’s round-the-clock efforts paid off, and the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park was open and receiving guests just a couple of days after the biggest hurricane on record tore through the state.
