Today, in a cryptically short message on their official website, the three members of Swedish House Mafia announced that they will cease to exist as a group after their current tour. Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello collectively make up the group which has spawned some of the biggest hits in the genre since their inception, and are responsible for bringing the electronic dance music scene to new heights with their sold out shows at Madison Square Garden and The O2 in London, their Masquerade Motel festival in Miami, and their ‘Greyhound’ promotional campaign with Absolut Vodka.
When not touring as Swedish House Mafia, each member maintains a packed solo schedule, and it can be speculated that they will remain touring and producing music as solo acts. Their current tour has dates in London, Ibiza, and Sweden, and they plan to announce more ‘farewell’ tour dates in August. Read the full message below.

“Today we want to share with you, that the tour we are about to go on will be our last. We want to thank every single one of you that came with us on this journey. We came, we raved, we loved.”
