SweetWater 420 Fest has announced the second wave of lineup additions for its 2020 weekend event, set to return to Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, Georgia on April 24th–26th.
The festival announced on Thursday that Cage The Elephant, The Revivalists, Lettuce, Toots & The Maytals, Tank and the Bangas, Futurebirds, Twiddle, Collie Buddz, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Doom Flamingo, Marc0 Benevento, and Brandon “Taz” Niederauer will all join in on the festivities in Atlanta come April.
As part of festival’s latest announcement, Andy Frasco & The UN, Ruby Velle & The Soulphonice, Aqueous, Liz Cooper & The Stampede, Iya Terra, Illiterate Light, Jessy Wilson, Ayla Nereo, Neal Francis, AFTM, Juice, The Ries Brothers, Pip The Pansy, The North 41, Krisb’s Midnight Railroad, Migrant Worker, Kendall Street Company, Schema, and Three Star Revival have also been added to the lineup.
This extensive list of new artists will join Oysterhead, Trey Anastasio Band, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Lake Street Dive, The Floozies, Dr. Dog, The Marcus King Band, Larkin Poe, Delta Rae, and Funk You, who were announced as part of the initial SweetWater 420 Fest lineup back in November.
Notable updates to the Sweetwater 420 lineup include more than just artist additions, as the festival announced that both Trey Anastasio Band and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead will each deliver two sets over the star-studded weekend. In addition, due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts, Gary Clark Jr., who was announced as part of the original lineup, will no longer be performing.
The three-day festival, which focuses on curating excellent music to pair with environmental awareness, promises another lineup addition sometime in January.
Tickets for the festival are on sale now and can be purchased here.
