[12/9/24]: System Of A Down will return to North American stages in 2025 for a trio of special stadium concerts. The world-influenced nu-metal act will team up with Korn, Deftones, and Avenged Sevenfold for shows in New Jersey, Chicago, and Toronto.
Up first is System Of A Down’s long-awaited return to the New York City area with an August 28th concert at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. At the home of the NFL’s New York Giants and New York Jets, System Of A Down will be joined by Korn. Next is an August 31st show at Chicago’s Soldier Field featuring SOAD with Avenged Sevenfold. Finally, the trio of shows will conclude at Toronto’s Rogers Stadium on September 3rd with System Of A Down alongside sleaze metal princes Deftones. All three concerts will include additional support from prog-rockers Polyphia and rising shoegaze act Wisp.
An artist pre-sale for the 2025 System Of A Down stadium concerts with Korn, Deftones, and Avenged Sevenfold will begin Wednesday, December 11th. Additional pre-sales will run throughout the week prior to the general on-sale Friday, December 13th at 12 p.m. local time via Ticketmaster. If you strike out there, there’s always the secondary market.
Earlier this year, System Of A Down teamed up with Deftones, The Mars Volta, Viagra Boys, and VOWWS for the first-ever nighttime concert at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. The sold-out show brought 50,000 fans to the seaside park and marked the launch of Golden Gate Park Concerts, which just announced a show by Zach Bryan, Kings of Leon, and more artists TBA for August 2025. Following the San Francisco show, Deftones announced a headlining arena tour—their first since 2022—with support from The Mars Volta and Fleshwater. Find tickets for that tour on Ticketmaster and StubHub.
