Tedeschi Trucks Band has begun rolling out some of the details of their annual residency at the Beacon Theatre. The 12-piece ensemble led by the husband-and-wife duo of Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks will hit the New York City venue for six shows in early October on 10/5, 10/6, 10/9, 10/10, 10/12, and 10/13, respectively.

The six-night run will mark the eighth consecutive year of Tedeschi Trucks Band’s annual autumn run at the storied New York City theater. The run of shows includes two weekends of two-set “Evening with TTB” performances in addition to a pair of mid-week dates that will feature special opening guests. Today, on Derek Trucks’ 39th birthday, Tedeschi Trucks Band announced the two special opening guests.

Renowned singer-songwriters Steve Earle and JJ Grey will both deliver solo sets during the mid-week appearances—three-time Grammy Award winner Earle on 10/9 and rattlesnake rhythm-and-soul frontman Grey on 10/10, respectively.
