[Originally published 1/23/26; Updated 1/28/26, 1/30/26]: It’s a big week for TTB fans: Tedeschi Trucks Band, the Grammy Award-winning twelve-piece led by the dynamic wife-and-husband duo of Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks, has announced an extensive 2026 national tour in support of the group’s forthcoming sixth studio album, Future Soul, due to arrive on March 20th via Fantasy Records. The album and tour announcement arrived on Friday alongside the first Future Soul single, “I Got You”, and an accompanying music video.

[Update 1/30/26]: Tickets for Tedeschi Trucks Band’s Future Soul Tour are now on sale here. Scroll down for more information and a full list of dates.

Future Soul, the sixth studio album from Tedeschi Trucks Band, is set to arrive during the band’s 10-show residency at New York’s Beacon Theatre in March. Its first single, the easy-going “I Got You”, was written by TTB vocalist and guitarist Mike Mattison for the seasoned sweetness of Susan’s voice and the gospel choir-like dimensions of the group’s backing vocal section. The official video echoes the familial love at the song’s core. From clips of the recording process to behind-the-scenes b-roll from promo photo shoots to the many small, candid interactions that fill the spaces between them, the “I Got You” video presents a happy, healthy, centered family band—a refreshing view for a group that’s experienced its fair share of heartache over the years. “There’s music in the wine,” Susan sings, “A melody so fine.”

“‘I Got You’ is a breath of fresh air and pretty different for us,” shared Derek Trucks. “It feels like the band, but it doesn’t feel like anything we’ve done before.”

Fans may have caught a bit of that fresh air themselves last fall, when the band performed the new song ten times as it worked its way around the country on tour. Per a press release, the album was produced by Mike Elizondo (Twenty One Pilots, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Carrie Underwood) and co-produced by Trucks at the TTB’s own Swamp Raga Recording in Jacksonville, FL and Phantom Studios in Gallatin, TN. It serves as the studio follow-up the band’s dense, searching 2022 conceptual quadruple studio album, I Am The Moon, and the first new release since last year’s retrospective live album, Tedeschi Trucks Band and Leon Russell Present: Mad Dogs & Englishmen Revisited (LIVE AT LOCKN’) (2025).

The majority of the songwriting was done by Trucks, Tedeschi, Mattison, keyboardist/vocalist Gabe Dixon, and drummer Tyler “Falcon” Greenwell and pulls from “a variety of influences including funk, rock ‘n roll, blues, soul, punk, and much more.” Scroll down to view the full track listing for Future Soul.
