Telluride Bluegrass Festival Unveils 2018 Lineup With Sturgill Simpson, Chris Thile, & More

For 45 years running, Telluride Bluegrass Festival has brought the best and brightest to Telluride, CO, reveling in the majesty that is folk and bluegrass music. This year’s lineup is no exception, as many favorites – old and new – will return to the festival once more on June 21-24, 2018–exactly 6 months away from today’s date, the beginning of the winter solstice.

At the top of the billing is Sam Bush Band, Sturgill Simpson, The Del McCoury Band, Yonder Mountain String Band, Greensky Bluegrass, and Emmylou Harris. There will also be sets from the Telluride House Band featuring Sam, Bela, Jerry, Edgar, Bryan & Stuart, a special “Live From Here” with Chris Thile (live broadcast), Leftover Salmon, St. Paul & the Broken Bones, I’m With Her: Sara Watkins, Sarah Jarosz & Aoife O’Donovan, as well as Tim O’Brien Band, The Jerry Douglas Band, Punch Brothers, Edgar Meyer & Christian McBride, Bela Fleck, The Infamous Stringdusters, The Wood Brothers, Chris Thile, Billy Strings, Peter Rowan & the Free Mexican Air Force featuring Flaco Jimenez, and many more to be announced…

This initial lineup announcement includes about two-thirds of the Festival’s main stage lineup.
