For forty-two years, Telluride has been a mecca for jazz lovers everywhere. This year is no exception, as the fundamental Telluride Jazz Festival returns once again with a killer lineup. Held in Telluride, CO from August 3rd-5th, the festival will feature headlining performances from Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers, Irma Thomas, Soul Queen of New Orleans, and Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe.
The 2018 event will also see performances from Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band, BADBADNOTGOOD, Turkuaz, Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles, GoGo Penguin, Sammy Miller and the Congregation, No BS! Brass Band, Nachito Herrera Trio – “A Night in Habana”, Polyrhythmics, Ty Morris & H.O.W, The Lao Tizer Quartet, Crescent Super Band, Stillwater All-Stars, Telluride Student All-Stars Jazz Ensemble, J-Calvin, Hooligans Brass Band, The Inevitables, The McCarthy Trio and Telluride Jazz Adventure Academy Band.
