Update: Police have regained control of the Paris concert hall. A state of emergency has been declared and all French borders are closed.

Paris is currently under attack. In the developing story, we know 60 people have been killed and hundreds are being held hostage. Of the city’s attacks, the music venue Bataclan Theatre was a target. Eagles of Death Metal, a collaboration between Queens of the Stone Age’s Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme (currently not on tour), were in the midst of performing a sold-out concert when 6-8 attackers ambushed the show, opening fire and searching for any people in hiding. Authorities say that terrorists are currently holding 100 hostages inside the venue, and are initiating a full on police shootout.

The chaos is spreading throughout the city. Multiple shootings and three explosions have taken place at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis. French authorities have launched a terrorism investigation, but there have been no claims of who is responsible. Paris is on lock-down and we are praying for the safety of all those involved.
