The Black Crowes will release Happiness Bastards, their first new album in 15 years, on March 15th, and to celebrate they’re taking it on the road for a 2024 world tour.

The 35-date international trek from brothers Chris and Rich Robinson will kick off on April 2nd in Nashville at the historic Grand Ole Opry. The 21-date North American leg of the tour will take the Crowes to theaters across the country in Atlanta (4/3), Houston (4/5), Denver (4/8), L.A.’s Greek Theater (4/12), Seattle (4/15), Chicago (4/19), New York’s Radio City Music Hall (4/27), and more before wrapping in Philadelphia (5/7). The band will then spend its spring abroad, playing in England, France, Italy, Denmark, and more, culminating with a pair of festival appearances in Sweden and Spain.

“Hope everybody is ready to rock ‘n’ roll with us on the Happiness Bastards Tour this spring,” Chris Robinson said. “We’re excited to be playing songs from our new album along with some deeper tracks, juicy covers, and the songs you want to hear.”

A Live Nation pre-sale for tickets to The Black Crowes’ Happiness Bastards Tour will begin on Wednesday, January 24th at 10 a.m. local time using the code SPOTLIGHT. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10 a.m. local via Ticketmaster.

Happiness Bastards will mark The Black Crowes’ first new studio release since their ambitious double album Before the Frost…Until the Freeze in 2009. Chris and Rich broke up the band in 2015, only to reunite four years later (the band’s third reunion, for those keeping score at home) for a planned Shake Your Moneymaker reunion tour that was put on ice until 2021 due to the pandemic. The band went on to release a six-song covers EP, 1972, back in 2022.

“Happiness Bastards is our love letter to rock’n’roll,” Chris said of the new album. “Rich and I are always writing and creating music; that has never stopped for us, and it is always where we find harmony together. This record represents that.”
