The Capitol Groove has revealed the complete lineup for its inaugural event, due to take place at Hartford, CT’s Bushnell Park on June 29th and 30th, 2024. In addition to newly announced headliner My Morning Jacket, new names on the lineup include Tank and the Bangas, Ozomatli, The Suffers, and Vincent Lima.
My Morning Jacket will join The Revivalists atop a Saturday, June 29th lineup featuring Ozomatli, Shakey Graves, Trampled by Turtles, Say She She, and a special performance by The Cap Groove All-Stars. Dispatch and The Head and The Heart will lead the way on Sunday, June 30th alongside Tank and the Bangas, The Suffers, Vincent Lima, Guster, and Trevor Hall.
[UPDATE 3/27/24]: Tank and the Bangas have been added to the lineup as a replacement for Celisse, who will miss The Capitol Groove due to her involvement in Willie Nelson‘s recently announced Outlaw Music Festival tour. As Celisse said of the update to the festival’s 2024 roster, “Sad to miss y’all, but Tank and the Bangas NEVER miss!”

[1/5/24]: The Capitol Groove, a new, two-day music festival set to take place at Hartford, CT’s Bushnell Park in 2024, has announced its inaugural artist lineup. A total of 14 bands will perform on a single stage throughout the weekend, ensuring that attendees can catch all of the music on the lineup.
The folk- and Americana-focused festival will begin on Saturday, June 29th with top-billed performances by The Revivalists and an as yet unannounced second headliner in addition to sets by Shakey Graves, Trampled By Turtles, Say She She, The Cap Groove All-Stars, and more. On Sunday, June 30th, Dispatch and The Head and the Heart will lead the way lineup alongside fellow performers Guster, Trevor Hall, and more.

The Capitol Groove is produced by GoodWorks Entertainment Group, which owns Hartford’s Infinity Music Hall and Charleston, RI’s Rhythm & Roots Festival in addition to producing the Hartford Live local concert series.
