The Disco Biscuits were back in action on Saturday night where the jamtronica quartet welcomed their Tennessee fans back to The Caverns Above Ground for the second night of a two-show Easter weekend run at the amended outdoor venue.
Following Friday’s performance, The Disco Biscuits opened Saturday’s show with “Story Of The World” and moved right into an inverted version of “Abraxas” before returning to “Story Of The World” to close the two-song, three-part opener. The band then started into “Basis For A Day” and grooved right into an inverted take on “Humuhumunukunukuapua’a” which returned to “Basis For A Day” to send fans into set break.
The Disco Biscuits returned to the stage to open the second half of the show with a bust out of “¿Donde?”, which hadn’t been played since the band’s 2016 New Years run (129 shows). The set continued with “Above The Waves” which sandwiched “Jigsaw Earth” into the mix, followed by a jam that included a Miles Davis tease followed by “Down To The Bottom”, “Anthem”, and “Rock Candy” to close the set. The show came to a close following a one-song encore of “Portal To An Empty Head”.
