The Disco Biscuits have added a fresh batch of dates to the band’s Why We Dance tour and will make their return to Electric Forest in 2024.
Twenty new shows have been added to the tour, including two nights at Silver Spring’s Fillmore, two nights at Buffalo’s Town Ballroom, the band’s first Pittsburgh show since 2007, and a rescheduled return to Portland’s State Theatre. In April, the Biscuits will return traverse the South visiting several markets for the first time in years, including Louisville (first since 2009), Houston (2009), Nashville (2009), and Dallas (2011). Two shows are listed as TBA.
“We are so excited for these late winter and spring dates!” said Marc Brownstein. “2024 starts off with a bang and is filled with amazing venues, some of which are new to us like Stage AE, College Street and the Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville, while some are old faves like the Kirby, the HOBs in Boston and New Orleans, and ultimately the Tabernacle. We are looking forward to heating up the country from west to east this winter and spring!”
An artist presale period for all new club dates will begin on Wednesday, December 6th at 12 p.m. ET with the password WHYWEDANCE24. Tickets going on sale to the general public on Friday, December 8th at 12 p.m. ET.
In addition to the new club dates, the Disco Biscuits added Electric Forest to their list of 2024 festival plays. The band will also perform at Tucson’s Gem & Jam Festival and Austin’s Texas Eclipse Festival.
