Last night, The Disco Biscuits unveiled their highly anticipated space opera, Revolution in Motion, at a sold-out album release show at Webster Hall in New York City.

The trance-fusion quartet performed the 14-track album in two jam-filled sets, taking the audience on an escapade through the galaxy to save the world, with psychedelic ai-influenced visuals by Blunt Action and Todd Kushnir accompanying Lighting Director Herm Schneider’s display of lights and lasers. Upon arrival, fans were also greeted by life-size cutouts of the aliens featured in the album’s animated film and spacey 3D visuals displayed on the venue’s video wall.

The show featured Aron Magner playing keytar for the first time and special guest sit-ins by vocalist Erin Boyd (Resistance Revival Chorus, Jennifer Hartswick) performing as The Queen on “Twisted in the Road” and “Why We Dance”, and Matteo Scammel (The Very Moon Musical) on songs “Tourists (Rocket Ship)” and show-closer “To Be Continued…” Frequent Disco Biscuits collaborator Cloudchord (Derek VanScoten), who produced the space opera album, also joined the band on guitar for “Tourists” and “Spaga’s Last Stand”.
