The Disco Biscuits wrapped up their first West Coast tour in over ten years with two sold-out shows at L.A.’s Roxy Theatre and Solana Beach’s Belly Up Tavern. The band was warmly welcomed by enthusiastic crowds throughout the 14-show tour, and fans are praising the run as one of the band’s best in recent years.
“Having 14 shows in a row really allowed us to develop things in a way we haven’t in two decades,” said bassist Marc Brownstein. “We have developed a little language on stage, allowing us to communicate nearly telepathically during our jams. I know what Barber is about to do. Mags knows what I’m about to do. Allen never. stops. the. beat. We feel like we’re as good of a band as we’ve ever been and we can’t wait to keep it going into our fall tour and of course BISCOLAND.”
The West Coast run began with four nights in Montana, including a three-night stand at Livingston, MT’s Pine Creek Lodge, which featured the longest “Voices Insane” jam in the band’s history, clocking in at 34 minutes.

Highlights included a notable “Nughuffer” in Seattle on 7/13, a 30-minute “I-Man” in Bend, OR on 7/14, and a 32-minute “Mindless Dribble” and “Down to the Bottom” bust-out in Portland, OR on 7/15.
