The Floozies rolled into Denver, CO’s Mission Ballroom on Saturday night with their funk-inspired livetronica in tow.

Brothers Matt (producer, guitar) and Mark Hill (drums) curated a high energy dance party in the Mile High City, building a lineup consisting of various bass music sub-genres. Denver’s own Since JulEYE (Lev Averbakh) opened the show, before the Montreal-based Anomalie (Nicholas Dupuis) showed off his classically trained keyboard and production skills during his performance with a full band.

Before The Floozies’ headlining slot, the Boulder, CO native, SoDown (Ehren River Wright), kept the dance party raging with his cross-genre, saxophone-infused production.

It was then time for The Floozies to close out the night. The chemistry Matt and Mark Hill share has helped make The Floozies a resounding success. Each show is unique as the two never perform with a setlist. Their brains seemingly communicate without words, following in lockstep with every musical pivot. A broad spectrum of influences is visible through their catalog, everything from their funk roots to Amon Tobin.
