The Mockingbird Foundation will celebrate its 25th anniversary next month with The Mockingbird Sessions virtual festival. Set to air June 4th–6th beginning at 6 p.m. ET each day, the webcast will stream for free via FANS.
The Mockingbird Sessions will feature a number of special collaborations including APB (not to be confused with the new wave pioneers) featuring Andy Thorn (Leftover Salmon) with Paul Murin and Brian F. Adams (DeadPhish Orchestra); Marco Benevento, Joe Russo, Christian McBride, and Mikaela Davis; and Twang Is Dead with Arthur Lee Land & Friends featuring Jeremy Garrett, Andy Hall (The Infamous Stringdusters), Emma Rose, Lionel Young, and Paul Murin.
Also on tap for The Mockingbird Sessions are Ari Joshua, Dan Wilson, Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio, Dopapod, Neighbor, Pete Pidgeon, Paul Hoffman (Greensky Bluegrass), Ryan Montbleau, Soule Monde, The Jauntee, The Sweet Lillies, and Yonder Mountain Trio featuring Adam Aijala, Ben Kaufman, and Nick Piccininni.

In addition to the musical performances, the webcast event will see Master Classes taught by Reed Mathis, Karina Rykman, Chris Wood, Nikki Glaspie, Russ Lawton, Nels Cline, Ari Joshua, Scott Metzger, Rob Barraco, and Jonny Grusauskas in sessions conducted by Dr. Stephanie Jenkins.
