Colorado funk ensemble The Motet have announced a fall tour! Perhaps the most noteworthy facet of the tour, upon initial examination, is the new Mixtape ’77 concept that the band will bring to the Midwest for four nights, culminating in a Halloween throwdown in Chicago, IL.

If it’s anything like Mixtape ’75, where the band brought out funky versions of tunes released in 1975, then this is one Halloween show you won’t want to miss.

The run also features two nights at the Brooklyn Bowl (11/6-7) and two nights of a “Hometown Hustle” at the Ogden Theatre in Denver, CO (11/13-14). Not to mention all of the festival appearances, including Catskill Chill, Phases of the Moon, and Magnolia Festival.
