The New Mastersounds have teamed up with Color Red to launch a new premium subscription content channel for fans.
With the rise of livestreams and subscription-based content due to the ongoing pandemic, musicians have come up with creative ways to bring music and exclusive content to fans at home.
Through their new monthly subscription channel, The New Mastersounds will offer new, remotely-recorded music; Zoom chats on various topics surrounding music and current events; and never-before-seen archival material. Subscribers to the NMS TV premium channel will also be able to watch the full-length documentary, Coals to Newcastle, about the band’s first trip to New Orleans Jazz Fest in 2007. Currently separated and spread over three countries, The New Mastersounds have adapted to continue to provide new content for their fans. The band recently performed a remote set for Live For Live Music’s Quarantine Comes Alive back in May, where they debuted their new original “Less Is More” featuring Lamar Williams Jr. on vocals.
