With The Peach Music Festival exactly one week away, organizers have released daily schedules for the 2023 gathering at Montage Mountain in Scranton, PA. The 11th edition of the Allman Brothers Band-founded festival will welcome headliners GooseWeenMy Morning Jacket, and Tedeschi Trucks Band from Thursday, June 29th through Sunday, July 2nd for the Independence Day Weekend celebration.

Fittingly, The Peach opens on Thursday with a Friends of the Brothers ABB tribute on the Peach Stage, which will be the only operational stage on Thursday. Sets follow from ThumpasaurusTwiddle, and two sets from headliners Goose, set to carry the party until 1 a.m.

Music starts bright and early on Friday, with the main Peach Stage, midsize Mushroom Stage, and intimate Garcia Hand Picked Grove Stage all opening at 12:30 p.m. Doom Flamingo vocalist Kanika Moore will pull double duty, helming a “Kanika Moore Presents The Broadband” set on the Peach Stage at 2 p.m. followed by a TAUK Moore set on the Mushroom Stage at 8:30 p.m. Similarly, Nashville axe-slinger Daniel Donato will have a busy Friday as he helps provide the daily dose of Allmans with Trouble No More at 3:30 pm on the Peach stage followed by a late-night Mushroom Stage set with his Cosmic Country outfit.

Other heavy hitters appearing on the Peach Stage on Friday include Boston R&B indie-pop group Ripe followed by prog-jam outfit Umphrey’s McGee who will set the stage for New Hope, PA alt weirdos Ween. Following the hailing of the Boognish, LP Giobbi will take over the Peach Stage for a Dead House set raging into the early morning hours. The Mushroom Stage will present an array of up-and-comers throughout the day, including CouchDogs in a PileTaper’s ChoiceYam Yam, and more ahead of Daniel Donato’s late-night barnburner.

Saturday brings a fully-loaded lineup to The Peach, kicking off at 12:30 p.m. with friends of original ABB drummer Jaimoe hosting a “Friends of Jaimoe” set to honor the band’s legacy. The Peach Stage is stacked from there on with sets by Circles Around The SunKarina RykmanAndy Frasco & The U.N.Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade, headliners My Morning Jacket, and a late-night performance by The Australian Pink Floyd Show. The Mushroom Stage will host plenty of girl power on Saturday, with showings by The Sweet LilliesMelt, and Lawrence, with psy-pop partiers Magic City Hippies keeping fans dancing until 2 a.m.

Finally, The Peach Music Festival winds down on Sunday with a truncated music schedule. While Sunday doesn’t go as late as Friday or Saturday, it packs plenty of soul into ten hours of music. Blues torchbearer Christone “Kingfish” Ingram gets the Peach Stage into gear following an opening set from J.D. Simo, prior to future-funk hip-hop sextet Lettuce and a two-hour single-set performance by Joe Russo’s Almost Dead. Ziggy Marley will then provide some Sunday reggae vibes prior to headliners Tedeschi Trucks Band cleansing souls and closing out the festival.

Along the way on Sunday, fans can catch performances from rising bluegrass trio Mountain Grass Unit, JRAD guitarist Tom Hamilton‘s side project Ghost Light, a solo set from Twiddle frontman Mihali, a special Brandon “Taz” Niederauer plays Jimi Hendrix showcase, and ABB descendant Duane Betts as he honors the festival’s founders.
