The Postal Service and Death Cab For Cutie will take their joint co-headlining tour into the new year with fresh 2024 dates. The communal trek from the Ben Gibbard-helmed projects will continue their 20th-anniversary celebrations of Postal Service’s Give Up and Death Cab’s Transatlanticism.
The new run of dates will begin on April 23rd in Atlanta and travel the Southeast for arena and amphitheater shows in Orlando (4/24), Charleston, SC (4/26), Raleigh, NC (4/27), and Nashville (4/29). A Midwest leg will follow with stops in Columbus, OH (4/30), Pittsburgh (5/2), and Milwaukee (5/6) as the tour moves westward through Kansas City (5/9), Salt Lake City (5/11), Boise (5/12), and others before wrapping in Portland, OR (5/15). Slow Pulp will provide support on all dates.
As was the case on this year’s well-received outing, each night will witness full-album performances of Give Up and Transatlanticism. Last year marked the first tour by the Postal Service supergroup featuring Gibbard, Jenny Lewis, and Jimmy Tamborello (aka Dntel) in a decade, with the band performing its debut and to-date only album.
