The Rolling Stones are going back on tour in support of their latest album, Hackney Diamonds. The classic rockers outlined a 16-city 2024 run through North America which includes a headlining set at New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival which has been a long time coming.

The tour will kick off on April 28th in Houston before heading to New Orleans for an appearance at Jazz Fest on Thursday, May 2nd. Back in 2019, The Stones were scheduled to play Jazz Fest but were forced to cancel the show and postpone the tour so Mick Jagger could undergo heart surgery. Organizers for Jazz Fest then called up Fleetwood Mac to take their place, however weeks before Jazz Fest they too canceled their appearance due to health issues. Jazz Fest vets Widespread Panic ultimately came through to take over the slot for the band’s 11th appearance at the festival in 22 years. As of now, The Rolling Stones are the only band so far confirmed for Jazz Fest 2024.

Following Jazz Fest, The Rolling Stones will perform at football stadiums from coast to coast including stops in Las Vegas (5/11), Seattle (5/15), East Rutherford, NJ (5/23), Orlando (6/3), Atlanta (6/7), Philadelphia (6/11), Cleveland (6/15), Denver (6/20), Chicago (6/27), and a lone Canadian date in Vancouver (7/5), before wrapping on the West Coast with shows in L.A. (7/10) and Santa Clara (7/17). Tickets for The Rolling Stones’ 2024 tour will go on sale to the general public on December 1st at 10 a.m. local time. See below for a full list of tour dates. This upcoming run of dates will mark the Stones’ first tour since last summer’s international outing celebrating the band’s 60th anniversary. Following that tour, fittingly dubbed Sixty, the band hunkered down and took a break from the road to work on Hackney Diamonds. Released last month to critical acclaim, Hackney Diamonds marked the Stones’ first album of all new material since 2005 and the band celebrated the album drop with a surprise abridged concert at intimate New York club Racket. Fans can expect to hear cuts from Hackney Diamonds alongside chart-toppers and deep cuts from throughout the band’s career on tour next year.
