The String Cheese Incident is looking ahead to next year with the announcement of some initial 2025 tour dates. The first few months of the new year will see the veteran jamgrasstronic act visit a new venue, return to some old ones, and team up with Pigeons Playing Ping Pong on the West Coast.
First up for Cheese in 2025 will be the band’s debut at The Salt Shed in Chicago on January 31st and February 1st. After that, The String Cheese Incident will return to Atlanta for its first shows at the Tabernacle in almost 25 years (2/6–2/8). The following month, Cheese will head west for a previously announced three-night run at Belly Up in Aspen, CO (3/6–3/8). Of note, the last time Cheese visited the intimate mountaintop venue, bassist Keith Moseley was sidelined due to emergency retina surgery. The group soldiered on with ringers from Greensky Bluegrass and SCI cover band Cream Cheese Accident.
String Cheese will then stick around the West Coast for the band’s long-awaited return to Southern California, beginning with a show at Los Angeles’ The Wiltern (3/13) and Del Mar’s The Sound (3/14–3/15). These shows will feature Pigeons Playing Ping Pong as support. Finally, Cheese’s initial 2025 tour schedule will wrap with the band’s inaugural trip to the Mesa Amphitheatre outside Phoenix (3/16).
