The Strokes announced a new string of 2020 North American tour dates on Tuesday. The performances, which will all take place in March, will feature support by King Princess and Alvvays.
The new announcement includes performances at Pepsi Live at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC on March 5th; WaMu Theater in Seattle, WA on March 9th; and The Forum in Los Angeles, CA on March 14th.
The general on-sale for the show in L.A. begins January 31st at 10:00 a.m. local time. Tickets for the Vancouver and Seattle shows go on-sale January 31st at 12:00 p.m. local time.
Set at the beginning of March, the three West Coast performances will lead the band into a string of festival dates including slots at Shaky Knees Festival, Lollapalooza South America, Primavera Sound, and iii Points Festival. These show announcements follow a New Year’s Eve performance at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, NY where The Strokes’ frontman, Julian Casablancas, confirmed a new album due out in 2020. The forthcoming release will mark the band’s first studio album in seven years.
